Since its inception in 2003, the McClelland Sculpture Survey has emerged as the most important outdoor sculpture exhibition in Australia, displaying a wide range of works in different media and styles by both established and emerging artists.

Anton has been selected as one of the finalists for this award for 2012 with an amazing piece called 'Seed', which is currently exhibiting at the McClelland Gallery until July 2013.

Seed is carved from Japanese Cypress, and stands 480cm tall.  It can be viewed within Anton's Outdoor Sculpture Gallery.

Winner of Toorak Westpac Award in the Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition 2010

This years 95 sculptures were individually assessed and critiqued by Dr Ken Wach, head of Academic Art at the University of Melbourne, who after many hours judged the winners.

The Westpac Toorak Award was awarded to Anton McMurray with shop exhibit no 20 – ‘The Visitor’ at the Commonwealth Bank.
